Where are the heroes? Audi Murphy tribute.

Type Iraq War Hero in Google and the first sites offered honor "heroic" war resisters or list fallen soldiers. Every American should honor the fallen soldier and respect their sacrifice. God bless them. But where are the tales of valor that fathers and teachers can recount to boys thirsting for real heroes instead of the mock-heroes Superman or Spiderman? Where are the Audy Murphy stories to inspire boys into being the next Audie Murphys? With many children tragically unable to bond with a male figure, aren't these examples more important than ever? Unlike many, I won't place the sole blame at the already soiled feet of the New York Times or CBS. If people wanted to hear it, it would be told. To do my part, I'll put in some time finding these stories and placing them up here every couple of days or so. The link above goes to a site honoring fallen soldiers.

Respect the man - don't spell his name 3 different ways in one paragraph. If you're going to hail him, at least do some research so you know the name of the man you're talking about!
Don't allow anyone to deter what you have started here! There will always be critics, no matter what you do. I am doing a speech on a subject that is political/military before 1990, and I picked to speak on Audie Murphy and who he was and has done. I came across this site in looking up information. Keep trekking on! Never give up!
