Is flushing a newborn down a toilet wrong?

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating a 20-year-old woman who allegedly tried to flush her newborn son down the toilet at a McDonald's restaurant after giving birth in the restroom.

Follow up:

Both the baby and the mother, a Kansas City resident who works at the McDonald's, were being treated Tuesday at a Kansas City hospital. Police said the child is expected to survive.

"Fortunately, the baby's fine," Capt. Rich Lockhart said. "The baby's at the hospital getting treatment. The mother's at the hospital getting treatment. We're investigating it."

The incident occurred about 12:50 p.m. Monday. Lockhart said workers became concerned after the woman didn't return from the restroom. The workers quickly called paramedics after checking on the woman, and paramedics were able to revive the baby.

Now the baby's going to have to grow up with all kinds of disadvantages, not to mention the stress on the mother.

You have to be kidding. You're worried about the mother's stress? How about the stress of knowing your "mother" tried to murder you as you took your first breath? Do you really think she will get this child back from the court system? The woman should go to prison for the rest of her lousy low life.

She told the authorities she didn't know she was pregnant, but the cops have already interviewed co-workers who state she told them she was pregnant.

May she burn in Hell.

Yes, I was. I just thought it funny that had she done that one week, nay-one day, before, it would have been legal.

I didn't know you could get an abortion 1 day before birth. Are you sure? Kit, As for the burn in hell, there are lots of people who have abortions, some probably feel like low lifes after, some are even hyocrits, but do you think that all people that get abortions should go to hell? Hmm? Soo much for 'judge not, least ye be judged'.. Oh, yeah.. Thats a Christian thing, you kinda have to read the bible to know that... I should expect less.
