Mitt Romney: perfect on the issues: Too darn perfect, if you ask me.

I remember the last Republican debate when the moderator asked Romney about not serving in the military (or Vietnam). Romney replied that he wished he had. I remember thinking, "Of course you do. If you had served in Vietnam, you'd be an even more perfect candidate."

It's Romney's do-anything approach to being president that turns people off. He's like the Republican Al Gore, who gave himself a little farm cred by saying how he'd "chucked tobacco," or Hillary Clinton, who claimed to be the only Yankee fan in Illinois. Romney's squishiness, by the way, is the main reason (along with Romney's desire to spend tax money on the Olympics and McCain's determination to stop him) McCain hates Romney. It's also why Romney has less of a chance in November than me (you can write me in).
