An interview with Jack McCain
02/16/08

Jack and mom, Cindy.
Here's something I came across today. It's an interview with one of McCain's sons, Jack.
“My dad told me there is one thing McCain’s are good at and that is not giving into pressure, and honor – keeping our honor regardless of what happens,” said Jack McCain. “He then said, ‘Don’t lie, cheat or steal – anything else is fair game.’”
Hat tip to the McCain forum.

Nelson,You can put lipstick on a pig, but in the end it's still just, well, a pig.
(I'm talking about McCain, not his wife or son).

Following being shot down, suffering 2 broken arms (one in 3 places), a broken leg, beatings, interrogations, and solitary confinement, Chris has the nerve to suggest that McCain lacks honor for breaking "under a 'little water up the nose.'" Chris, you don't understand the first thing about what it is to be a POW, so keep your mouth shut.
Approve of his politics or not, McCain is a war hero and his honor should never be brought into question. Shame on you.

I read the whole interview with Jack McCain. I think it's wonderful that John McCain's children say such complimentary things about him. That says a lot about him as a father, and about his exceptional personal decency.
