« Reverend Jeremiah Wright speaks at NAACP: Asymmetric opinionSurprise! Democrats lie with McCain Are you better off ad. »

Gimme a break, Barack, DNC- Wright NC ad

04/25/08

Obama's camp is aiming to make McCain own Republican attacks he says he's trying to stop, and to prevent the development of what someone today called a "good GOP, bad GOP routine.

Emails spokesman Hari Sevugan of the North Carolina Republican plans to air an attack ad::

"The fact that Senator McCain can't get his own party to take down this misleading, personal attack ad raises serious questions about his promise to the American people that he will run a civil, respectful campaign."

Wow, the Obama camp sure is results oriented! It goes to show that no good turn by McCain goes unpunished by Obama. What a lack of gratitude! I suppose we should demand that Obama do what he can to have the university fire William Ayers. Why didn't he try to get his church to fire Wright? That's leadership!

Maybe the fact that McCain can't stop the ad shows that the Republican party isn't a top-down, dictatorial institution.

Obama is not in a position to criticize anyone who brings up Jerimiah Wright, if it bothers him that much then Obama should demand that the biography he wrote himself should be yanked off bookstore shelves, and have a hissy fit over Jim Moyers interviewing Wright.

Or perhaps it shows that McCain is not the leader of the Republican party.

Well, he doesn't have to be. This is a dangerous game.

At best, Wright is a stranger to the truth. Just as it is troubling that conservatism has become a Satanic cult bent on practicing ritual human sacrifice and dismemberment in Iraq for the next 100 years, so too is it disturbing that a cult on the left thinks they can curse America and lie about it or that we are to supposed to admire them for the way they curse us. Well in that case, dm U too! And in the words of FUtus, the sitting VP, fu as well.

Well, it would be desirable for the Republican candidate to have more than a passing acquaintance with the principles the party claims to espouse.
