Obama and McCain vice-president
06/08/08
McCain has an advantage in vice-presidential options. It's natural that the top guy in any field pick a less-experienced, but potentially great protege' to assume leadership once he's gone: Think "Junior-" Tony, Tony- Christopher in Sopranos. McCain will be the grizzled and Obama will be the potentially great, but as yet untested, candidate. Obama can pick a well-respected veteran, but some people will wonder how it came about that the rookie is at the top of the ticket.
