Liberals: Bringing people together once again
06/26/08
Let's face it: Many if not most liberals only want to bring people together when one of the sides is a terrorist organization or a brutal dictator. Where's the love and understanding in such a measure? Where's the purple America? Where's the end of partisan politics? Respectful debate? Respect for anybody?
Not to be "divisive," but would a conservative propose such a thing for Jimmy Carter or Lyndon Johnson?
A renegade voter movement to rename a San Francisco sewage plant after President Bush is flush with support in the liberal West Coast city...
..Virginia-born activist and ordained minister John Rinaldi, a co-sponsor of the petition and unsuccessful mayoral candidate last year who ran under his nickname "Chicken John," said the initiative would turn "every toilet in San Francisco into basically a shrine for George W. Bush and all his great achievements in his eight years as our commander in chief."
From here.

What leaves me flabbergasted is that they cannot conceive that everyone in the country might not agree with them.
