Please, learn another language so that the French stop snickering.

Not to bash the French, but isn't a 10% unemployment rate more embarrassing than mispronouncing "thank you?"

I don't like English-only laws, and I think its nice for Americans to learn other languages- if they want to, but what does one issue have to do with each other? People support English-only laws because they think it will assimilate immigrants and learn other languages for personal satisfaction or to increase one's value in the marketplace (and impress Obama).

Now, if everybody in America spoke English, wouldn't that lessen the need for Americans to speak another language? Indeed, according to Obama, we're not to worry because immigrants will eventually learn English anyways, and most foreigners Americans are likely to meet already speak English: So, what's the problem?

Incongruous. But what Obama, whom many believe an elitist, should avoid saying is that Americans embarrass him or that they have to go out of their way to accommodate people who wish to be part of our society.

In other news, McCain makes a boneheaded joke about Iran, saying cigarettes might be our way of killing Iranians, and Obama regrets letting Access Hollywood interview his daughters. Where's the judgment, guys?
