Black Friday websites ready for busy day
11/27/08

Representatives of Black Friday websites like Black Friday Ads and Black Friday info are gearing up for a busy day.
In a phone interview with Asymmetric, Black Friday Ads president Steve "Black Friday" Rogers said that he was pretty excited, "it being Black Friday and all. We hired some extra staff to code the page and bought like four newspapers."
Pete Stark of Black Friday Info said, "I've been waiting all year for this day. We expect it to be our busiest day since last November."
The day after Thanksgiving is a "make or break" day for Black Friday web sites. Last year, many criticized the management of the now defunct web site Black Friday Clearinghouse for giving their employees Thanksgiving week off, "I wanted them to spend time with their families."
President Barack Obama has promised federal funds to bail out Black Friday Clearinghouse and further promised the American people that "soon, every day will be [the shopping day when retailers break even and which features huge price cuts for the consumer**]."
