Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.

OK, we have a full eleven months to put our affairs in order before we're called upon to "engage." "Engage what," you ask? Why "hopelessness" of course.

My wife isn't into politics so I have to teach her a bunch of stuff. I wonder if I'll have time to blog. Probably not. Anyways, I gotta go find some self-help books or lift weights or tutor somebody or something. Finally! a chance to be part of something I can be proud of!
