Conspiracy theory Zeitgeist bunk debunked

08/25/07

"When people stop believing in God, they don't believe in nothing -- they believe in anything."
- GK Chesterton

My friends at Magnasquids (the movie is here) brought to my attention a conspiracy movie claiming to show that all religions; including Christianity, (but not Islam, oddly); descend from the ancient zodiac. Basically, they used the Egyptian god, Horus, himself a personification of the ancient zodiac, as inspiration for their own theology and God origin. The movie, not content with a mere academic discussion of religious origins, however, goes on to discuss how we were all fooled by Bush and Co. during and after the Twin Towers attack of 2001 (the lying "9/11 Truth" movement) and even bring up that old chestnut, the Federal Reserve Bank.

I was immediately skeptical for a couple of reasons. First, just like I wouldn't buy a car from someplace called "Honest Jack's Car Emporium" I immediately distrust any movie that claims "everything you know is a lie, UNTIL NOW." Yes, an internet movie will set us strait. Second, in order for such claims to be true, we'd have to live in a more evil world than anybody could imagine; our president would have had to murder 3000 people to please... I don't know... his bothers from the Skull and Bones who now run the Reserve Bank who just lent money to Halliburton.

I must admit that I wasn't prepared to discus the religious aspects of the film. The movie begins by listing coincidences between the different religions: that all ancient religions have virgin-birthed gods who later acquire twelve disciples, are killed, and are resurrected (anybody you know?). Their list of gods is impressive from the aforementioned Horus to Dionysus, to Mithra and Vishnu and even a god that they made up themselves called Virishna.

The list of similarities took me aback. I thought that if they were true, it would be a solid case against religion in general and Christianity in particular.

But, it turns out that the movie is one big, fat lie. In one of my most interesting internet experiences-more than the youtube video of the cat flushing the toilet- a site called Unexplained Mysteries has such a devastating debunking that I almost felt embarrassed for the movie makers- until I realized that these people are spreading the most disgusting lies and generating unjustified fear- very sad. The thread is very much worth your time.

Some thoughts:

Follow up:

1. According to anti-religious people, religious leaders lie to their followers in order to control them or to take their money (some do, by the way). The question is, then, why do non-religious people, like the either delusional or mendacious producers of Zeitgeist, lie? What do they gain from fooling us? For that matter, why do people like Michael Moore and Noam Chomsky lie? Do they also want to fleece their flock? Power? is it a psychological defect? (Michael Moore lies and Chomsky lies as if you ever doubted).

It's the most sad irony of our time that the people who most often claim that everybody is being lied to are the ones who believe the most provable untruths. In other words, the lie is that the majority is being lied to (of course, people lie-I'm not a gullible idiot. I'm talking about the Oz-like "man behind the curtain," or the Chomsky-like "everything you know is wrong" lies).

2. Why do some people desire to believe that they live in an evil country? It's one thing to point out legitimate problems, but why pile-on with lies?

3. If the United States is as corrupt as people say and we're stolen from and deceived to such a great degree, then it must not be such a bad thing. Even with "them" stealing from us, we have more stuff than any society in history. I mean, I'm not rich and I still have more junk than I could ever possible use. Even with "their" attempts to spy on and dominate us, I never walk around scared, especially of our government (circus clowns, yes-that's different).

4. Most non-religious people and most liberals aren't dumb, wouldn't be taken in by these ridiculous movies, and don't disparage those with whom they disagree, but some of the more extreme or disturbed are, would, and do. In fact, in some ways, they're more credulous than the "religious nuts" (who do exist and whom we should shun) they criticize. Responsible religious people admit that, ultimately, their belief system requires faith and, thus, don't claim the ability to physically prove every aspect of their religion. The anti-religious Zeitgeist defenders on the bulletin board (Sunofone, check him out-hilarious) accept the most scandalously unreasonable assertions without any proof at all as well as argue in the most illogical, emotional, and offensive manner-typical of many far left sites that I sometimes make fun of.

5. If you look at the thread I referenced; Conspiracy Clothes, The Doctor, and Elgin provide a model of logical, honorable argument. Kind of inspiring, actually.

6. The end of the movie presents an apocalyptic end-of-the-world scenario, the kind of thing people make fun of Christians for. Global warming is another end-of world scenario claimed by some, (but not in the Zeitgeist). Conclusion: People like to think about the end of the world.

7. Wasting time on conspiracy theories distracts from real problems and prevents legitimate solutions.

before this movie came out the same theory for the religion part was credited to a person named k.m. carnduff. but since all the hype i cant find anything about this person. i had read about this person having a severe following but now nothing can be found. if the anti-christ came in human form i have a hunch this person fits the bill.

Do you even know where your own religion comes from?

Just about every religion on the planet comes from Astro-Theology, especially Christianity.

The movie isn't BS...you just haven't done your homework.

Turn off your TV...
Take a SUNday off from church...
Do a little research on what you believe to be true.

BTW...Even the so called "conspiracy theorist" hate Michael Moore & Noam Chomsky. They do something that is known as "White Wash".

And if you honestly believe that a steel and concrete building can collapse at free fall speed (ignoring Newton's Law Of Conservation Of Momentum) then your intelligence is lower than that of cattle.

Seriously...
TV Off...
Books Out...
Homework!
Seriously!

OK. So, before this trash, you knew a lot about building collapses, right? You've read the popular mechanic's report explaining how it happened, right? You do your homework.

Hi. I'm a minister of the United Church of Canada. Interesting blog!
The movie about everything religious being descended from the Egyptian god Horus caught my attention. There's a former Anglican priest turned journalist called Tom Harpur who has written a series of increasingly far-fetched attempts to debunk traditional Christianity. His latest is "The Pagan Christ" which argues that Jesus never existed historically, he is simply one of a multitude of manifestations of Horus. He claims to prove this by minute exegesis of ancient esoteric texts; but Harpur has drawn almost entirely on the work of a fellow wing-ding, the nineteenth century theosophist Alvin Boyd Kuhn. The subtitle of the book is "Recovering the Lost Light" but it's simply another dreary attempt by someone who has issues with Christianity to come up with the latest, hidden, now revealed, finally complete version of the truth. You can find out more by visiting his website, www.tomharpur.com.

I ish Zeitgeist had stopped at Part I. It is the most credible of the 3 parts. It is an extremely convincing case for the origin of christianity and more evidence that it is the most powerful and far reaching fraud of the ages. Perpetuated by Contantine a Roman story based on a “standard myth” that was developed politically for social control. Christianity is not based on truth, no matter how you or how many people have been indoctrinated into this scam.

I'm sorry, but Zeitgeist is factually incorrect in its first part. I'm not saying that you can prove Christianity correct, but you first must assume that it can't be true in order make your claim. In other words:

Since Christianity isn't true, Constantine was lying.

the first part is atheist propaganda that's so blindly biased that it boarders absurd. 2 fish, 2 fishermen? Jesus born on the 25th?
what about the Torah - the Old Testament... the various things of science that we didn't know 'till most recently? The movie seemed quite centered on one entity - Jesus.

The rest of the film, the gov conspiracy stuff - from my research, is incredibly factual & was done by another company altogether. (you see the 1995 INWO card game? couple cards show 911 VERY blatantly 6yrs beforehand)

This 'Illuminati New World Order' card game caught my attention enough to goto a hacker convention last year, where i ran across the 'Ordo Sinistra Vivendi' aka. 'Order of the Left Handed Path' - a satanist group that's focused on deception. One member is 'elonka' who is a wikipedia admin, who's given speeches at nsa/cia places for cryptology.. who made what i see as a blackflag website for one for of the cia kids at the convention (micheal lynn/'abaddon').

If you haven't noticed freemasonry junk yet - go checkout the spy museum in washington dc.. they have a VERY prominently placed masonic logo on the tour. Masonry has created the mormons, jehovas witnesses, christian science (cult), scientology, theosophy (think hitlers occult teacher), commercialized satanism, commercialzied witchcraft (wicca; gardner looking at crowleys notes)... not to mention the KKK & whatnot else.

I'd say about 1/2 of the churches in detroit are mason owned/operated... have you noticed the INSANE number of unity/united/'celtic cross'/whatnot churches popping up lately that teach anything you wanna hear? I met a Knights Templar down the street who's passing out ministry certs & teaching ppl to prophecy in ways that dont get them stoned; has a blue-eyed Jesus on the wall, and various masonic/templar symbols.. lied to me multiple times, and has had several run-ins with police for 'laying on hands' inappropriately. I believe he's helped start at least 10 masonic churches.

I have nothing against church, or religions in general - i do have something against people who dont believe in what they teach; you'd be astonished to find out how many satanists there are in the area. Look into symbology to see the world in a whole new light. It's one thing to hear that satan is the 'god of this world' (currently), but it's quite another to SEE it.
drop me a note - i've a ton of info to share. bandaidsrcool@yahoo.com

I disagree with the analysis of 3 Kings because the bible only mentions Magii, (Zoroastrian priests) and does not specify how many.

Also, the mention of God's sun is no proof that the origin of Jesus is the Sun-god of Paganism..

What he should have shown is that there can be found Pagan influences in Christianity but that is only part of the story. Christianity also started as a sect of Judaism and it adopted the Hebrew Scriptures. The first Christians were Jews who found the Messiah, Jesus. However, most of the Jews did not agree.

It also leaves out the influence of Paul who was a Jewish apostle to the Gentiles. As his ministry spread across the Mediteranian many old beliefs and customs were held on to. Pauls writings are filled with sacrifice and blood and salvation. The Jewish expectation of a Messiah had nothing to do with salvation.

To say that Christianity is merely a recycle of of Pagan religion would be over-simplification.

At age 14 I played music with a Christian organization and for the first time realized that most Christian organizations "use the lords name in vein".. not meaning saying goddamn, but putting themselves above me for their "devotion" to the religion. I am a Christian. I firmly believe in the message and a higher power. But.. religion causes control. The Mexican population is out of control because the Pope told them birth control was a sin. That's real power. Power that can shift tides. I've seen Zeitgeist about 6 times. If you are vein enough to deny their points especially on world power, the price of money and the eventual abolishing of the constitution, then you just don't want to listen. People like to argue their point. But what about when the government proves it on their own site? Check it out.

Check out lou dobbs perspective on the spp trade agreement and eventual one world money
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6qSGQP-uk0

There is a larger power on this Earth and that is the people providing the currency. I finance things for a living and have a greater understanding than most, but understand this.. those who understand interest make it and those who don't pay it. Interest is life and if you're paying 20% + interest rates on anything than you're one of the losers and there are a lot more of you than there are of me. You have to pay attention to your own money or someone else will for you. You give that power to them, yes the banking institutions. The Amero will shift that power to the people that control the new money. yes the Rockefellers, the Bushs, the Bin Ladens, Halliburton, the Carlisle Group. And with a North American Union there is no constitution or guidelines to control what they can do. Wake up. You have to. Over the next ten years you'll be the one to realize that it's too late.

Does Popular Mechanics explain the loss of inertia, the presence of Thermate or the numerous explosions heard by multiple witnesses before the first plane had even hit? - I've not seen that site for a few months!!

The mythical Virishna apparently did exist in Hindu belief from 1200 BC.

(That said, there were many mistakes in the first part of the film regarding religions, the 25th December date may be significant in all of these religions/beliefs/myths but in some cases it was conception, in some it was death and in others it was birth.

Neither Horus or Jesus had their birth dates recorded.

Furthermore, Horus's birth was a miracle both but not necessarily one to a virgin. There's no references I've found yet that support either side. Horus also had FOUR disciples called the Heru-Shemsu... and 16 followers, not 12 disciples.

There are still a lot of similarities between religions and some interesting connections with symbolism, particular astrological... but yeah, the producer of the movie messed "Part 1" up and that will not help his credibility (or lack thereof) regarding the other parts.

The film is half true, half rubbish... which in many respects, ironically, is like religion!!

Have fun chewing my head off!! ;)

This means our value is constantly sinking there for we always need more money.

I find it amazing and hilarious reading these posts. It's like a Star Trek convention, arguing over which fictional character did what or might do what. I love how everone points out that Horus and Jesus's birthdays can't be verified - of course they can't, they are MYTHS! Myths aren't supposed to be verified, get it?

The bible is a fictional mythical book, written by dozens of people over hundereds of years, and retranslated several times. It wasn't even written in the time of the supposed time of Christ, the "anointed one", which makes sense since he never lived at all.

Astrology was the religion of the ancient times, and people simply started personifying (adding people or characters to) the sun, moon, earth and others forces of our world. That's all it is.

Religion is the source of all bigotry. All unrest. It is the largest travesty to have cursed human culture. All because a few people wanted to make the sun into a man, a human man. As soon as you start defining something as strong as a god with a gender or a race, you have lost.... as history has clearly shown.

We have all lost. Every person that believes in a divine god in the universe is writing a permission slip for every single fundamentalist extremist out there.

Guys, at the end of the day, there is no one on Earth (that we live on) that will be able to prove what is true or what is a lie. So, if what you believe in makes you happy, then be it.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, otherwise it would be quite boring.

The facts still remain though, 3% of people actually "think and implement" 15% thing and do nothing, the remainder do not thing at all. The reason being is that they are not taught how to think.

these are the facts.

Guys, please, be at peace with yourselves and have a great Xmas or whatever festivity you may celebrate.

I would like to point out that there is more than enough non-biblical, historical, and physical proof that Jesus existed. The same Jesus as in the Bible. I am not going to explain the proofs because i dont have enough time as of now (sorry).

And these websites arent outlandish, propoganda filled, christian nutjob sites. These are the real and completely logical. I have searched the web (trust me) and i have yet to find a single (logical) sentence debunking these. If you need more, google something like "non-biblical proof Jesus existed"

I also wanna point out that these only prove that Jesus lived, crucified, and had followers. They dont prove that Jesus is the Son of God, God is real, or that Jesus performed miracles.

This movie was good in opening the eyes of unknown truths. Watching it however, most of this was info was stuff that I had found yrs before (in respect to religon). Truth is ALL religions have truth, Christianty included. HOWEVER, Christianty is the ONLY religion that was voted on what would be a part of the following. That is fact, historical fact. I think the movie brings up religion to show that if they can fool you w/this (religion), what else can they do? As far as Jesus not being real.. I didnt take it as they were saying he wasnt real, jus that the "historical diety" we have come to know did not exsist. & if you truely study religion & do it unbiased you will find that Jesus was a man. There are documents that show Jesus' life in the MANY yrs that the bible leaves out. But if this was revealed in the bible, then it would destroy the creation of Jesus Christ the diety, & therefore the undoing of Christianty. Truth is, Jesus was a great & wonderful MAN & Prophet of God... NOT the son!

while i agree the 9/11 stuff is laughable (its all been said before in loose change, and its all been debunked before), but do any research and you will see that the jesus myth WAS derived from so many previous gods/stories before it it becomes funny that people believe it now.

im not a fan of internet documentaries, they are usually poorly researched, and i dont even doubt the creators of this documentary took alot of liberties with even the religious parts. but seriouslly. wake up and do some research. the basic gist of the origins of christ that they show are indeed true. and i dont mean research on the internet. buy some books, talk to scholars, talk to historians, its all there. you just have to WANT to know the truth, otherwise theres really no point. if you think its all BS, and have blind faith, seeing it in black and white wont change your mind. its unfortunate though. it really is sad.

“ZEITGEIST, Part 1” Debunked? NOT!

“...When the subject matter is examined scientifically and in depth, there continues to be no credible evidence for the existence of the gospel character named Jesus Christ, and the preponderance of scientific evidence points to him being as mythical a character as the Greek god Hercules and the many other deities of the Roman Empire of the time.

While people who take such a position are widely subjected to ridicule and derision, based on all the evidence this conclusion is demonstrably the most reasonable and logical. Furthermore, in a truthful world where we should not be compelled to reside in BLIND BELIEF, this perspective should be allowed to exist without its holders being derogated and abused, as well as dunned with impossibly high standards of proof, while claims in the religious arena require little to no proof at all! “

Honestly, I don't get this whole religion thing. Are people this gullible?

Most of my family has strong religious beliefs. Sometimes I have to think to myself... Why?

The truth of the matter is, they have such strong beliefs because their mothers, fathers or another person told them that "God" is real.

So what is "God" really? There hasn't really been any proof that god exists. There is no real proof that "Jesus" was in fact "Gods" son, or the fact he has divine powers. I have only heard stories from people, or the bible. (Which in fact was written by man.) But everything is based on other peoples beliefs and rumors. But there has not been one shred of real evidence to support it.

(Also, this "bible" was written in a time where witches were real, magic was real, even though there was no evidence to support it. People were killed because of another persons beliefs, and no real facts. But people still believe in a divine being born on earth that is in fact the son of god.. Why?)

Is everyone really basing their beliefs on rumors?

I discovered Zeitgeist only a few days ago, and all I can say is that it put many things that I have felt throughout my life into focus. Call me an idiot (and I'm positive you will), but much of what was presented in the film made a lot of sense to me.

Now all of you choose to debate the "facts", rather than grasp the point Zeitgeist, and Jesus, and Mohammad, and Buddah, and other founders of various religions tried to convey to their followers...

Treat each other with love and/or respect.

Why is this such a difficult concept for most people to absorb and utilize? I understood it when I was very young, because I'd rather have a friend than an enemy. I'd rather know someone I liked than someone I didn't. Sure there are plenty of people I know that I don't like, and therefore I have little or nothing to do with them. I don't feel a need to kill them simply because we share different values or beliefs. Whatever god you believe in is irrelevant.

There is a big difference between fact and fiction.

It's not that some people do not understand what Zeitgeist, Jesus, Mohammad, Buddah and the various religions stand for. It's the fact that their are allot of gullible people in this world who do not do their homework on the issues.

Is it okay to tell people lies and fiction, or is it best to tell them the truth?

When it comes down to it, the "truth" is always best to convey to people, weather it is good or bad it is at least honest and not misleading. This allows people who are not as mentally developed or people who do not do their homework on the issues make more accurate choices, then choices based on somone flaunting their own beliefs, lying, misleading, or brainwashing them with no facts to prove themselves or the issues.

(It's not that a religion is more or less wrong, it's the fact that since these religions do not have proof to back up these claims, then they are perceived as a hypothesis and is valued as a non-truth until actually proven. This information should not be told as an actual truth, which is common among the spread of various religions.)

Don't get me wrong.. Lots of the religions have good foundations, but this does not mean you have to flaunt your own beliefs, lie, mislead, or brainwash people into taking these life lessons into account.

I saw the movie and had questions about world order, the illuminati, the date 12/25, the federal government, comspiracy theories and the 911 ordeal. I was perplexed but know there is something more powerful than myself. This power is the power that made the variations of the colors in flowers and so on. My dismay was the federal government, and constantine.

I don't understand why a nation who knows and understands the constitition still pay taxes when it is unlawful and people are still going to jail for not paying them. Why is it that a select few govern the many. How is it that we all pay taxes and no one questions the government on the legality of it? I believe a lot of deals are being consummated behind our backs only to come to light when they are put in action and it's too late to do anything about it. I also want to know, how can one person know it all. I also want to know all of the meanings of the bible codes and how come it is not published or made available to all. Only a select mathemeticians have deciphered the code of the bible and are not at liberty to inform the masses. Is it real?

Also, I believe that we are not alone in this vast universe and to think we are is insane and ignorant.

I believe religion was set up to control the masses. Before the bible what book was written for all to follow? The bible is the only book I know that has lasted for ages and the translation is still being translated to mean so many different things. Right about now, I believe we are all being manipulated.

I would like to start a petition to stop paying taxes and would definately like to see how many people sign it. I would like to start a new world order, which prohibits the rich from getting richer, the poor from remaining poor and stopping the middle class from paying for everything.

I believe in the power of evil and good and right about now, evil is prevailing and anyone able and willing to show the evil for what it is, has always been crucified, whom ever she or he may be.

Fear of retaliation has most keeping their mouths shut. We know what can happen to you if you become a target/enemy of the government. Let's see, we have Martin Luther King, Robert Kennedy, and more who were murdered by the government for their views, beliefs and the audacity to want to bring the people of this country together. What about the television, the infamous they want everyone to have a certain type of television or you will not be able to see tv like you did before. After this television change over, you think you are watching tv, remember someone could be watching you, through your set. The technology is there. People talk about Jesus and his existance but no one talks about Big Brother anymore, who does exists.

Without evil there is no good. There is no good without evil. There is no light without darkness.

Darkness is prevailing now, but soon there will be light. It could come as comet out the sky to destroy us in 2012 or it can be the light that goes off in your head in realization.

I'll tell you this, it will light up the world and everyone will see then, what is really going on.

Thank you for listening.

First off...define the word "nature" what does being "one with nature" mean? Is something in control? Or...do things just happen? Naturally something must hold and be in control of the knowledge that supports life? ex. babies suckle without instructions...moms don't teach babes how to suckle... they just do it. Another issue arises in the statement that we are not in need of any morals and that "We are not simply "guilty" or have perpetual "sin" as certain religions would like you to believe and that "We are perfect." If everyone is so perfect then why all the fuss about greed, corruption, racism and hatred? The fact is..no one is perfect. I would run not walk far away from anyone claiming that "We are perfect".

i read through the first couple posts by the numb minded christians before i had to run to the bathroom to avoid puking on my keyboard. they werent PICKING on ur precious jesus, they clearly stated that all religions were based on generally the same thing (thus all were a load of crap to keep people where they wanted them "in fear"). jesus just happens to be the leading sham of this time, if judaism was the most popular they would have prob focused on that. if you christians could just get over being wrong ,and see through the BS that youve been fed by the people with their hands down your pants, we could move forward to actual PEACE.

Actually, Zeitgeist modified some things, although Horus's birth is reminiscient of Jesus, I've looked it up and I even bought books on Egyptian mythology because i was skeptical (I'm too lazy to buy astrology books, sorry.)

Horus was born of a non-virgin but the birth certainly was "magical". Osiris was killed by Set and his wife, Isis (of whom I presume is NOT a virgin because I'm 90% sure that Set is Osiris's son because Set and Horus are brothers.) hunted down her beloved corpse in the form of a falcon. SHe fanned Osiris's body (Keep in mind that Osiris created the world and was the head of the Gods despite having parents which doesn't make sense to me.) with her wings.
Osiris's essence floated into the air and she used that to get pregnant with Horus.

Horus then kicked Set's ass and avenged his father, who later came back to life.. I think.

There's a second story that's similar, but I don't know which one is real. The other one is that Set killed Osiris and his body was torn to shreds, Isis put it back together, humped his carcass and got pregnant.

Either way, person getting pregnant that shouldn't be getting pregnant. The second one is less mystical. I need to read my book and stop looking up short stories on the net.

However it is still not identical to Jesus's, semi-similar, yes but not identical.
It's possible to make a correlation, if I could I'd go and ask an egyptologist in person if Horus's story was similar to Jesus's. It'd save me a lot of time and I'm lazy.

Regardless, the stories are similar but not blatantly stolen from one another. Most mythology is original in origins from what I can tell anyway.Maybe they have minor similarities, but with so many gods, you have to have some with somewhat similar stories anyway.

I researched SOME of Zeitgeists conspiracy stuff, some of it is correct and some of it isn't. I'm not finished looking at all of it.

Haven't even TOUCHED on the 9/11 stuff.

Notably, just so you know, I believe that Varishna, which was claimed to be a hindu goddess, was a complete butchering of a Hindu goddess's name, named Vishnu.

So that actually appears to be an honest (And stupid) mistake.

And no, I'm not religious, I'm an atheist, but most of the claims in that movie were so out there and I wasn't comfortable believing them outright. It sounded so wild. So far the things with the Amero, the Real ID act, the American Union act are all true though. I looked up reliable news sources and recognized Lou Dobbs on sight.
Those sources are real. It is possible that they are expanded upon in a more paranoid form, however I do notice that they are right about some things.

I'm a Christian and i was appalled at the religion part... if you look up any of the other "sun gods" you will find out that most of the facts are outright lies.. As Tom Servo Posted before

This is someone who actually took the time to look at all the evidence... he points out all of the misconceptions and blatant lies

So, when Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden, if you go for all these fairy tales, that "evil" woman convinced the man to eat the apple, but the apple came from the Tree of Knowledge. And the punishment that was then handed down, the woman gets to bleed and the guy's got to go to work, is the result of a man desiring, because his woman suggested that it would be a good idea, that he get all the knowledge that was supposedly the property and domain of God. So, that right away sets up Christianity as an anti-intellectual religion. You never want to be that smart. If you're a woman, it's going to be running down your leg, and if you're a guy, you're going to be in the salt mines for the rest of your life. So, just be a dumb fuck and you'll all go to heaven. That's the subtext of Christianity.

"When people stop believing in God, they don't believe in nothing -- they believe in anything." ,well i guess if this is true it's a good explanation of Scientology i mean its more ludicrous than Christianity (not by much)i mean how about that? You hold on to the tin cans and then this guy asks you a bunch of questions, and if you pay enough money you get to join the master race. How's that for a religion?

I find it amazing that people believe that Zeitgeist is one fat lie. Everything's a lie these days. It all comes together and makes sense...but really why is there no documentation of the fixed 9/11 high jackings? The hotel cameras? The plane that crashed into the pentagon is very bizarre as is the field crash, you can't honestly tell me that it burned to ashes in a DAY. You haters of Zeitgeist call out all these people and their profession of many years to tell them their liars...something their lives revolve around every day and are use to...yet they don't know because...according to you they just don't?! Sad. I use to hate conspiracies, but I can honestly say that it all is just played out so well that no other explanation would make any sense...we spend billions on our defense system, and amazingly somehow, with the technology we have we couldn't stop "terrorist hijackers"....grow up ...you're the same idiots who claim that you didn't vote for Bush after you found out how big of a retard he was, and knew that what he does is wrong. Bill of Rights - Gone. Patriot Act....I mean come on. Open your eyes, quit being damn morons, I don't care about the religon aspect, you guys can debate that in the meantime I am still going to keep to my well-mannered, kind, peaceful ways, and if "God" feels the need to put me through eternal damnnation for no apparent reason than I guess my life is completely pointless,...a life that I didn't even get to choose that I wanted to partake in this crooked world, if only Utopia existed.
