What does tiger shrine say about mourners?
01/03/08

This, along with ladies who sterilize themselves to save the earth and Spanish authorities who wish to give apes human rights follow logically from the atheist assumption that man is merely a smarter animal. Without a distinguisher like a soul from an authority like God, people will grieve for and give rights to any creature or thing that tugs on their heart strings- reason and logic are useless in this context. Since they felt more sad for the Tatiana, making a shrine for the dead tiger instead of the dead people is a no-brainer (truly). I wonder what percentage of those participating in the tiger memorial go to church.
Follow up:
SAN FRANCISCO — Visitors to the San Francisco Zoo placed flowers, cards and photographs near a sculpture of a bronze tiger Thursday in honor of the escaped tiger who was shot dead by police after mauling three people.
Nine days after the attack, the San Francisco Zoo reopened amid heightened scrutiny of its security procedures and a flurry of questions over the incident that led to a teenager's death.
