Liberty Film Festival Review- Two Creations

Written, produced, and directed by Larry Dudock.

I briefly chatted with Larry Dudock after his screening. He was there with his mother and I found him a lovely man who emanated a sense of peace; kind of like a semitic Mr. Rogers. Two Creations gave me the same sense of peace. Dudock chose well by dramatizing only two events and making only one point. The film wants people to focus on the eternal rather than the transient. To make his point, Dudock contrasts a family celebrating a Shabbat dinner, to himself, who spends the duration of the movie constructing a beautiful, but temporary, sand sculpture. The scenes are tranquil except for the appearance of a particularly stunning beach damsel who certainly did her best to ruffel my serenity.

Appreciate the thoughts above. One quick correction: I wrote the story and was Executive Producer, as well as co-producer.

I did not direct this film. The director was Chris Berkenkamp, who did a wonderful job also as co-producer, director of photography and editor.

DVDs of the film are available, with many special features. Try the myspace.com/twocreations site for contact info.
