Movie Review: Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour
02/03/08
I actually like Hanna...I mean Miley Cyrus. Unlike most modern music, her album is actually listenable and, as far as I can tell, she seems like a nice girl.
My daughter Samantha, is 9 and, therefore, the prime Hannah demographic. My wife, Patricia is...(You didn't think I'd really say, did you?) and isn't the target audience, but loves anything pink and girly. Anyways, I dispatched both of them to the Kirkorian to watch and then review The Best of Both Worlds. Her mother drove.
Here's the result:
TBOBW is about a Hannah Montana concert. It shows what people do to go to the concert, how Miley gets ready, and what Miley does behind the curtain.
I think it's an awesome movie. Miley is very natural in the movie and when you watch her, you feel as pretty as she does. All of the outfits are gorgeous and the dancers are very professional as well as the chorus. I really felt like I was at the concert.
**Let me but in here. It's very good that Samantha felt like she was at the concert because it's probably easier to get Super Bowl seats than a Hannah Montana ticket. OK, back to Sammy:**
My favorite part is when the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana come out and sing together. There's no part I didn't like. My mother loved it too (**See, I told you. My wife's one bubbly gal.**).
Message/ Politics:
I think the message is that Miley Cyrus is a normal kid with a normal life and that her dream came true.
